The much anticipated ‘Immortal’ tour is about to hit the Las Vegas strip this December. After a widely popular world premiere in Montreal there are high expectations for its circulation in the US. For one glorious month this cri d’amour for the late Michael Jackson will grace one of MGM’s Grand Hotels and Casinos before heading off for a nationwide tour set to land in 47 states and span a twelve month period, where in August of 2012 it will move on to inspire the world. The opening will follow the release of the show’s official soundtrack, a 22 track masterpiece comprised of over forty of the late king of pops most popular renditions.

The opening in December is set to coincide with MJ’s fan fests in Las Vegas, leading critics and followers to expect one of the greatest turnouts in the history of Las Vegas shows in December.

Las Vegas and more importantly MGM has long been an honorarium of sorts for music’s great legends. Owning the rights of The Beatle’s “Love” Show and the “Viva Elvis Show”, it is unsurprising that that they will be home to the King of Pop’s as well. Tickets for the Immortal show are selling anywhere from $100 to $300 dollars, depending on the seats. The show left Montreal amidst revenue of stellar reviews.
